Fena was originally set up as Faizpay by Gosia Furmanik and Stefan Binder back in 2019.
In April 2020, Fena was accepted into the FCA Innovation Accelerator Cohort 6. Throughout the process of we tested the concept and our initial Open Banking APIs
In November 2020, Fena received our FCA authorisation as Payment Institution for Payment Initiation Services (PIS) and Account Information Services (AIS). Our FCA registration number: 934835.
Throughout 2021 we have added more banks across and added additional functionalities to accommodate feedback from existing users. By early 2022, Fena has released the Business Portal with the suite of payment products: Online Payments, Pay by Link, Invoice Payments, QR Code Payments Recurring Payments, Bulk Payments. In 2022, Fena officially changed the name from Faizpay to Fena to aid its main focus on the growth of the customer base.
What does the future hold? In early 2023, we decided to expand our Business Portal and enrich it with further features.
In mid-2023, we have release Fena Busieness Toolkit. It's an all-in-one platform for ecommerce B2B and B2C SMEs that includes the following:

All those new features will be available on a subscription and with Open Banking payments included.
